FAQ for Making 3-Ingredient Egg Noodles
Q: What type of flour works best?
A: All-purpose flour is the most common choice, but you can also use bread flour for a slightly chewier texture or semolina flour for a more traditional pasta feel.
Q: Do I need to add water or milk?
A: No, eggs provide all the moisture needed. If your dough feels too dry, you can add a few drops of water to help bring it together.
Q: How do I mix and knead the dough?
A: Simply whisk the eggs and salt together, then gradually mix in the flour. Knead by hand for about 5-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes before rolling.
Q: How thin should I roll the dough?
A: Roll it out to about 1/8 inch thick for traditional egg noodles. If you prefer thinner noodles, roll them even more.
Q: What’s the best way to cut the noodles?
