Charcuterie Kabobs: Easy Party Appetizer
Being able to make a delicious appetizer without having to turn on my oven sounds so wonderful right about now! We all love Charcuterie boards but this recipe takes a fun spin on them! I love that I can have this fact recipe made in just 20 minutes of time! The kids also think that it’s super fun to eat off a stick, and I think they’re right!
When you have simple ingredients that you can easily change up for new flavors, this is an awesome recipe to have on hand. Have the kids join in on the fun and let them make their own kabob as well. This is a fun way to get them to eat fewer sweets during the holidays, too! That’s a win for mom!
You can even buy the ingredients presliced and cubed at the store, making it even easier for you. It really doesn’t get much better than this.
Makes 6 kabobs
Prep time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1 pound cheddar cheese, cut into large cubes
6 ounces of:
thinly sliced salami
thinly sliced pepperoni
6 Babybel cheese pieces
6 mini dill pickles
Finally :
6 wooden kabob sticks
How to Make a Charcuterie on a Stick
Fold each slice of meat in half, then in half again. Slide one slice of pepperoni and one slice of salami on the stick.
Slide one cube of cheese on top of the meat.
Continue layering meat and cheese along the middle of the stick
Top the stick with a piece of Babybel cheese and a mini pickle.
What other types of flavors can you add to this simple charcuterie snack?
The easiest thing that you can do is change up the taste by changing up the type of cheeses that you use. Find the flavors that you like best and then add them to the stick. I also like to add an olive as well sometimes instead of the pickle but that’s totally up to you.
