Is this available for diabetics?
Could you use sugar-free Kool-Aid and sugar-free Cool Whip and add Splenda in place of any sugar and make it more diabetic friendly?
Love your recipes
Uour Kool Ade drink looks fabulous!
Have you tried using two kinds of Kool Ade and mixing the two kinds separately until done. Then put Kool Ade drink #1 in the glass, and add the whipped part of the Kool Ade #2 on top. Make the next drink the opposite way, using #2 kool pAde drink for the first pour and the whipped Kool Ade #1 in top.
You’d probably have to use complimentary flavors to make this come out right, but it might be fun to mix things up a bit.
That sounds amazing as well!
I have 2 kids and the whipped kool-aid jack i amazing now that all they will drink
Didn’t really work for us, ours was just a runny icing…never formed into a whip cream
This looks fabulous but can you add frozen whipped cream instead of heavy creme?
No it will be runny! Get a good quality heavy whipping cream
This comes out really sour. I needed to add more sugar but even then it was mouth puckering but good.
Add about 1/2 – 1 cup of sugar to the actual kool-aid when you mix it with the water.
This looks amazing and I will ask my guardian to do this with me thank you for sharing with everyone. bye!
Looks easy very cool and refreshing.
I believe that you can use equal or similar to make dessert
I made Kool aid in slushly last summer for our grandkids and friends and they love it. I’m going to try the whipping cream. I’m excited to see what flavors that I can use to make candy apple. Thanks for the ideals
Love this. Want to try it.
Kool Aid was invented in my home town Hastings, Ne
They have Kool Aid Days every August.
Can you tell the kook aid people that the red, white, blue that came out around the 4 th of July years back needs to be a regular flavor. It was so good and I wish I could find it again. Had I known how much I was gonna like it I would bought all the store had that day. From a small town In alabama is where I’m from Ariton, Alabama to be exact. It would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tiffany McLaughlin
I think it would be great if you make the kool aid and ice into A slushy and then put the whipped on top.
Can this be made with a sugar substitute?
I just made it with the substitute and it turned out great. My kiddos loved it. Woohoo.
I was wondering if you could make this with cool whip and just add the dry Kool aid To it? My granddaughter is coming for a week so am Definitely gonna try it.I know she’s gonna think it’s so much fun To have a cool drink Like this!!
I have done this and of course it was my first thought rather than using heavy whippin
g cream. I hope you tried it and liked it.
That looks like a fun summer project!! Have to try it with my niece ….she will love it!!
Are you using the individual kool aid packs or the unsweetened 2 quart packs?
Looks amazing. Not sure about taste. Will have to try
Yes, it does look amazing! I would love to make this but I am confused by directions.
Ingredients list says 1 packet of Kool Aid, sugar and whipping cream. Next, says for serving, mix Kool Aid according to directions. Then, instructions say to mix Kool Aid, sugar and whipping cream. Finally, says to fill two glasses half way with prepared Kool Aid, add ice until two thirds full and top with Kool Aid Whipped Cream.
Do I use 1 pack of Kool Aid and half it or use 2 packs of Kool Aid? Or do you make Kool Aid as directed and then mix with sugar and whipping cream… it looks like in picture you mixed dry Kool Aid with sugar and whipping cream.
Please clarify.
Thank you for stopping by! To clarify You will need a total of 2 packages 1 for the Kool-Aid Drink and one to make the whipped topping. Thank you for catching that and I will add a note to clarify instructions.
You never address the size of the Kool-Aid packet. Is it single serving or 2 quart size?
U must have used wrong product, because HEAVY whipping cream ALWAYS gets firm. I didn’t notice if she specified “heavy” or not. I looked….She did.
Thank you! I was wondering myself. 🙂
