These Air Fryer Mummy Meatballs are a fun Halloween Appetizer for kids! They are almost too spooky to eat…almost. If you’re looking for a super fun and tasty Halloween snack for the kids, look no further than this simple air fryer recipe!
Air Fryer Mummy Meatballs
I’m always excited to cook with my air fryer – always. This is because it’s fast and such a great way to cook up tasty food without a ton of mess. So when I got the idea to make mummy meatballs, I knew that I had to make it a reality.
And I’m so glad that I followed my gut on this because the kids went CRAZY for them. If you’re feeling really adventurous, you can make up your own homemade meatballs but because I’m always running low on time, frozen meatballs are perfect for me.
These are really fun to make any time of the year but having them as a quick snack before the kids head out the door to go trick or treating is such a fun idea! Serve them with a side of toxic waste Mac and Cheese or a toxic waste drink recipe and you have the perfect Halloween Night dinner!
Airballs are a fun treat no matter what but when you wrap them with crescent rules – they’re literally the best. My kids like to pick off the “eyes” and eat them first and I just love watching them have fun with this cute and adorable Halloween recipe.
Can you use frozen meatballs for this air fryer recipe?
This recipe is supposed to be used with frozen meatballs but they do need to be thawed. I’ve never actually put them in frozen but you could try if you wanted to.
How do you know when the meatballs are done cooking in the air fryer?
The biggest indicator is going to be the crescent dough. Once it starts to turn golden brown that is going to be your indicator that it’s time to remove them from the air fryer. As long as you buying frozen meatballs that are already cooked, you really just need to be certain that they’re heated up and that the dough is cooked all the way through.
