Oreo Rice Krispies Treats
My house is a house divided into sweets and treats. Some of us like cookies, some of us like cereal bars, and some of us prefer pie. But the one thing that we do agree on? There’s no such thing as a bad dessert.
We love oreo cookies because they’re such a versatile treat. You can even make them into delicious copycat crumble cookies! If you’re looking for an easy dessert that embodies the delicious flavors of this yummy cookie, then I have the perfect one for you! The best part? You get to make everything on the stovetop in a fast and simple process. With just four simple ingredients needed, everyone in the house will be “patiently” waiting for them to be cooled and ready! (and this is probably the hardest part of the entire recipe – being patient!)
The delicious combo of Oreos and Rice Krispies is a match made in heaven, waiting to be mixed. That’s how I knew that we’d just created one of the newest hits that everyone was going to love.

How do I store Rice Krispy treats?
To keep them fresh, be sure to store them in an airtight container and keep them at room temperature. You don’t have to store them in the fridge, but you can if you want to.
Do I need to grease the pan before adding the mixture?
You shouldn’t have to because of the melted butter that’s in the mixture, but if you’re worried about them sticking to the dish, just rub some butter around lightly before pouring the mixture in.
What is the best way to crush Oreos quickly?
You have options! You can put the Oreos directly into a blender and let it do all the hard work, or you can have the kids help out and crush the cookies. To do this, just put a few Oreos in a bag and seal it well. Then give the kids a rolling pin and tell them to get to work!
