How to make a Haunted House paper plate Halloween Craft
Step -1: Select cardstock paper for the haunted house pattern, the strip to move the ghost and the lens shaped pattern.
Select colored craft papers for the background paper to cover the paper plate’s surface, the door and window covers, the moon, bats, ghost and the speech bubble patterns.
Trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out nicely. Cut out the yellow traced patterns from the haunted house pattern.
Step -2:
Attach the less curvy side of the lens shaped cutouts along the bottom side of the haunted house base cutout.
Step – 3:
Turn the haunted house pattern to its wrong side. Apply glue along the top and outside border of the door cutout.
Step – 4:
Place the door cover cutout on the glued border to cover the door cutout. Now, cover the window cutouts but glue them on all 4 sides.
The window and door patterns are numbered in the template.
Step – 5:
Flip the haunted house to its right side. You can attach a bat or 2 on the moon cutout if you’d like to.
Step – 6:
Write down the text “Boo” on the speech bubble cutout and attach it with the ghost cutout. Use a sharpie to draw the face of the ghost cutout. Attach the ghost on a cardstock strip.
The strip should be at least 5 inches long.
Step – 7:
Prepare the paper plate by covering its surface with a colored craft paper of your choice.
