Air Fryer Flaming Hot Cheetos Cheese Cubes
I love cheese cubes when they’re just delicious as is but I’m not gonna lie – these hot and spicy cheese cubes are amazing. I literally cannot stop eating them and don’t even want to pretend that I can.
If you’re a fan of spicy foods, this recipe isn’t going to disappoint. Pairing up the pepper jack cheese, with the hot Cheetos, and then adding in the hot sauce will have you screaming for more, even though your mouth just might be on fire.
We’ve made these in the air fryer so many times and the kids always LOVE them, too. Not all of my kids love spice, but they do love trying these out to see if their “hot tolerance” has increased every time we make them.

How to make Flaming Hot Cheetos Cheese Cubes
Cut the pepper jack cheese into 18 cubes.
Place the Cheetos in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin, then transfer them to a shallow bowl.
Whisk together the flour, salt, and pepper in a separate shallow bowl.
In a third bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and hot sauce.
Dip each cheese cube in the egg mixture, then in the flour mixture, then back in the egg mixture, and finally in the Cheetos crumbs.
Transfer the coated cheese cubes to a plate or pan and freeze for at least one hour.
When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees. Place the frozen cheese cubes in an even layer in the basket of the air fryer and coat with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes. When the cheese begins to melt, the cheese cubes are finished cooking.
Tips for Making Air Fryer Cheese Cubes
While I think that this recipe is perfection, you can totally change it up a bit if you’d like. Any type of cheese will work, so have fun changing up the flavors.
And if you have some fans in the house of Cheetos but don’t care for spice, mix and match the outer coating and make some that aren’t spicy! This recipe really can be changed up for all to enjoy.
