Toilet Paper Roll Easter Bunny Craft
We’re always looking for fun Easter craft ideas, and this year, we wanted to try something different that wasn’t just about eggs. That’s when we realized we could upcycle toilet paper rolls into adorable bunnies! This Easter bunny toilet paper roll craft is a great way to keep kids engaged while helping them develop fine motor skills—plus, it’s so much fun to make!
The best thing about this craft is how simple it is. With just a few supplies like white cardstock, acrylic paint, small googly eyes, and a small pom pom for the nose, you can bring these little bunnies to life. To create the bunny’s ears, cut out shapes from white paper and add a smaller ear insert in a colored paper of your choice. Attach everything with a hot glue gun, and don’t forget to use a black sharpie or black marker to draw on the whiskers!
Not only is this a fun way to celebrate Easter, but it also makes a cute addition to any Easter basket or Easter egg hunt setup. There are so many different ways to customize your tp roll bunnies, whether it’s adding a cotton ball tail, experimenting with a number of coats of white paint, or using small pipe cleaners to make whiskers. However you choose to decorate them, these bunny rabbits will bring lots of fun and creativity to your holiday!

Make certain to paint the cardboard tube and give it enough time to dry. This shouldn’t take long depending on the type of paint that you use.
While the glue is drying, you can start working on the other parts of the bunny. As the picture below shows, start making the two bunny ears.
You can also start to great the rest of the bunny face as well. The two pink circles at the top of the image below are for his little bunny feet.
To get the feet to glue onto the cardboard roll, you can bend them a bit and glue them on.
Once the paint has dried, you can start to let the children create the Bunny Rabbit by gluing the bunny rabbit features to the cardboard tube.
