Santa’s Flight Academy at Dolphin Mall #beahero

Disclosure: Although my family received a Santa’s Flight Academy at Dolphin Mall experience with photos to facilitate my review, all opinions are 100%mine.

During the Christmas season, taking pictures of the kids with Santa Claus is on many families’ to-do lists.  Picture this:  You head over to the mall, stand in a long line, and get your pictures.  I might just want to skip it!  But, what if there was a place you could get those must-have photos with Santa where the kids could also enjoy a unique and exciting interactive experience at the same time?

Santa’s Flight Academy at Dolphin Mall in Miami, Florida is a cool new attraction where kids get to go on a magical hero’s journey to help Santa by becoming a member of Santa’s flight crew!  To get ready for their journey, kids will print up personalized badges with their name, codename, and specialty.  This badge will be their key to access all the steps they will take to become part of the crew!  Your child can choose which Elf guide will take him through the journey.

Mrs. Claus and the elves are also there to help guide the children from one step to the next.  First, they get fitted for their flight suits in the Flight Suit Visualizer.  Next they get to learn about navigation in the Flight Navigation Station.  My boys really loved powering the sleigh!

After that, kids can jump and dance inside Santa’s sleigh complete with a lightshow and snow!

Finally, we get to the big guy himself!  Santa Claus is waiting to hear kids tell him what they would like for Christmas and to take some memorable photos!  My youngest was not too sure what to make of this person!

Photo packages are available along with extras like frames, musical globes, Christmas photo books, and plush reindeer.  You don’t even have to purchase a photo package to enjoy this experience.  Your kids can go through the entire interactive area as many times as they want during the Christmas season.
