Halloween is such a fun time to make crafts. There’s nothing like easy crafts to bring in this spooky season. There are so many great options when it comes to spooky fun. How to make a Pumpkin Door Hanger
What you’ll need:
- Pumpkin Door hanger template
- Cardstock: orange, light green, green brown and white
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Instructions
- First print out the template on Cardstock paper.
- Decide which pieces you’d like for the jack-o- lantern face and cut them out. Cut out all the pumpkin pieces as well.
- Trace around the circle on the orange paper and cut it out. Trace around the open circle template on light green paper and cut it out. Next, trace around the leaves on green paper and cut them out. Finally, trace around the stem piece on brown paper and cut it out.
- Instead of cutting the pieces out of colored paper, kids can also just color the template just make sure it’s printed on white cardstock.
- To assemble, glue the brown stem to the top of the pumpkin.
- Glue the pumpkin’s eyes, nose and mouth.
- Now, glue the brown stem to the open circle, keeping the open end of the circle towards the right.
- Glue one of the leaves so it hangs down in the opening of the circle. Another leaf can be glued next to the stem, and the final leaf glued wherever you’d like.
- The pumpkin door hanger is finished and ready to hang up!
