Who’s ready for a quick and simple meal? These Chicken Parmesan Crescent Rolls are literally what’s for dinner! Perfect for a weekend recipe or an easy weeknight meal.
Sometimes, there are recipes that I make for the kids, and sometimes…I make recipes like this for myself. Because let’s be honest…we could all use a break in the kitchen and have the option some days of having dinner on the table without having the kitchen look like a tornado hit it.
Is that too much to ask? I really don’t think so, and this is why I love this simple crescent roll dinner. It has protein, dairy, grain, and fruit (aka tomatoes), so for me, it’s a really rounded meal to whip up for the kids!
I think it’s safe to say that they agree because they literally ask for it all the time! When it comes to a simplistic yet delicious dinner option, add this one to the top of your list.

Chicken Parmesan Crescent Rolls
Makes 8 crescent rolls
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 12 minutes

4 frozen chicken strips
1 8-count package of crescent rolls
½ cup marinara sauce
4 slices of mozzarella cheese, cut into quarters
1 tablespoon butter, melted
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and bake the chicken strips for 10 minutes.

Top the chicken with a spoonful of marinara sauce and two pieces of mozzarella cheese.
Wrap the end of the crescent roll dough around the chicken strip.
Remove the foil from the pan and place the crescent rolls on the baking sheet.
Bake the crescents for 10 to 12 minutes, until the dough is golden brown.
Before serving, brush each crescent roll with melted butter and top with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
How do I store leftovers?
If you have some of these yummy crescent rolls left over, just store them in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge! It’s as simple as that!
You can then reheat in the microwave or oven when you’re ready for round two.
Can I make these crescent rolls with varied ingredients?
Absolutely. I like using chicken strips, but you can easily use shredded chicken, leftover chicken, or anything that you have.
You can also vary the type of cheese that you can use, too. If you’re like me, sometimes you just have to use what you have on hand!
Don’t forget that this is a simple recipe for the kids to jump in and help make. They can easily be a part of the creation process, which always makes the outcome taste that much better!
