Baking is one of the things I love to do most.  I especially love baking during the holidays. There are so many delicious treats and combinations one can create that are the perfect party dessert or gift idea. One of my favorite flavors is Bailey’s Irish Cream. It’s always a delicious addition to any coffee or dessert during the Holidays (and honestly beyond).

I recently discovered a delicious way to easily add it to many of my favorite dessert ideas thanks to the new BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Baking Chips.  

 

What you’ll need to make BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Caramel Pecan Bars Recipe

1 cup unsalted butter melted
1 1/4 cup of brown sugar tightly packed
2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk room temperature 
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon Clabber Girl baking powder
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
One  Bag of BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Baking Chips 
1 cup of chopped pecans

For Caramel Glaze:
8 tbs of Unsalted Butter
1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
1 cup packed light brown sugar

How to make BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Caramel Pecan Bars Recipe

Preheat oven to 350F (175C) and line a 13×9 pan with parchment paper

Combine melted butter and sugar in a large bowl and stir well.

Add eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and stir until completely combined. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour,  baking powder, and salt.

Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet until completely combined.

Fold in BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Baking Chips & Pecans

Spread blondie batter into prepared pan and transfer to oven.

Bake on 350F  for 25-30 minutes*** or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few fudgy crumbs.

While it’s cooling combine the Butter, Sugar and Heavy whipping cream in s sauce pan and stir until combined. Will become a caramel sauce.

Pour a layer of the caramel over the bars and let them cool down before cutting. 

 Cut into squares & Enjoy!

This delicious BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream Caramel Pecan Bars Recipe will be a huge hit. It's chewy chocolate deliciousness filled with the decadent taste of BAILEYS® Original Irish Cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted

  • 1 1/4 cup of brown sugar tightly packed

    9. While it’s cooling combine the Butter, Sugar and Heavy whipping cream in saucepan and stir on med-high until combined and begins to boil. It will thicken up and become a caramel sauce.
    10. Pour a layer over the bars.
    11. Let them cool down before cutting into squares.
