Ingredients you need for Slow Cooker Breakfast casserole
- 2-3 Potatoes, Shredded
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 12 large eggs
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 lb cheddar cheese
- salt & pepper (to taste)
How to make a slow cooker breakfast casserole
Using a cheese grater, shred the potatoes and set them aside. Then shred the cheese and set it aside.
Brown the sausage and dice the green bell.
Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
Spray your slow cooker with oil and then layer half of the shredded potatoes, then half of the ground sausage,
Followed by half of the cheese and peppers.
Pour over half of the whisked eggs.
Repeat the layering for the remaining ingredients. Finally top with cheese.
Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 4 hours.
Once cooked, serve and enjoy!
