I have a bed but I never sleep. I have a mouth but I never speak.

What am I?

A river.

Riddle: Billie was born on the 28th of December yet her birthday always lands in the summer. How is this possible?

The answer: Billie lives in the southern hemisphere.

I sound like one letter but I’m written with three. I show you things when you look through me.

Answer: A barber 

Forwards I am heavy, I sure weigh a lot. But when I’m backwards, I certainly am not.

What am I?

Now for the Brain Teaser you came for. Can you figure the answer out? 

The answer is No one- The 3 doctors were his SISTERS. For some reason it’s easy for us to think doctors are male, but as we all know they are female as well. This kind of reminds me of when you speak Spanish.

Nouns are given masculine and feminine articles for example chair is Spanish is La Silla. Even though it has no sex La makes it feminine.  However a shoe is masculine:El (means him or male) Zapato. 

So I guess that’s what would make this one of those riddles that one’s brain would automatically go to the masculine term. Either way..did you get the answer ?

How can five minus two equal 4? 

Answer:This is a bit of trick question but if  you take the word  FIVE and remove the F & E you are left with IV which is the roman numeral for 4 !

What is it that after you take away the whole, some still remains?

 

The answer : The Word  Wholesome (Whole-Some)
