What’s New at Hershey 2024?

The temperature is rising which means it’s almost summertime. One thing our family LOVES to do is head to Hersheypark. Although you can experience the magic of Hershey year-round there are a million reasons to visit Hersheypark during the summer. Best of all the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania is now open daily from May 23 (Memorial Day Weekend) through Sept. 2 (Labor Day), with more summer hours.

Hershey is so much fun to visit and you can go many times and still see new things, experience new adventures, and enjoy new experiences. That being said the amazing people at Hershey have some new happenings that you have to check out! Read below to learn about them.

There are new coaster ride experiences on Skyrush and Comet

New entertainment offerings celebrating 50 years of Hershey Characters and more. 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the Hershey Characters at Hersheypark. In celebration, a new Character show will run beginning June 22, making it the first summer entertainment offering in Chevrolet Music Box Theatre since 2019.

Phase one of The Villas at The Hotel Hershey is now open. Ten Villas feature reimagined rooms, new amenities like a concierge lounge, and the most extensive Hersheypark experiences like Park tickets and One-Day Fast Track.

This two-phased expansion will mark the second-largest investment in the 90-year history of The Hotel Hershey. 

The longest summer concert series to date, with 14 shows, is underway at Hersheypark Stadium during its 85th operating year. 

When you head to Hersheypark you get 3 Parks in 1!

The amusement park of every chocolate lover’s dreams features three parks in one – all accessible via a single admission this summer.

You’ll get more than 70 family-friendly rides, including 15 coasters, which are open weather and maintenance permitting. New for 2024, coaster conquerors can enjoy new ride experiences on two iconic coasters, Skyrush and Comet.

The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park (open May 25 through Sept. 2), with 16 water attractions and one million gallons of water, celebrates 15 years since the “SEAquel” expansion added the wave pool, lazy river and cabanas.

ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park is included when accessing the Zoo through the bridge inside Hersheypark during posted Park hours. Starting June 10, ZooAmerica will offer daily summer activities, such as special animal enrichment and training sessions for guests to watch, weather permitting.

Visit Hersheypark daily all summer long!

The all-new Summer Fun Card, available online for $114 plus taxes and fees, allows guests to enjoy unlimited visits to Hersheypark through Sept. 8. A limited number are available, so guests are encouraged to buy now.
