Ice cream tacos
Let’s face it – why didn’t treats like this exist when we were young? How cool and fun would it have been to come to the table for dinner and have these dessert tacos sitting and waiting?
Well, you’re going to get the chance to create that reality! The kids will have a blast eating their tacos and you’ll get to make that fun and delicious memory with them.
Creating desserts like this is a fun way to showcase that not only is food creative to make, but it’s fun to make it unique and enjoy it with those that you love!

Ingredients needed to make dessert tacos
2 egg whites
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of all-purpose Flour
1/2 cup of milk;
3 1/2 tablespoons butter.
Taco Filling ingredients
ice cream
chocolate sauce
strawberries
sprinkles
How To Make Ice Cream Tacos
Mix the egg whites with sugar, and beat with a whisk.
Add wheat flour and melted butter.
Pour in the milk, and mix well. The dough is ready. The consistency is about like sour cream.
Preheat the pan, put 1 tablespoon of dough and spread it on the pan in the shape of a circle (size at your discretion). Fry on both sides. Fry the first side for 1.5-2 minutes, the second – no longer than a minute.
Hot waffles can be shaped using kitchen utensils.
Add the chocolate sauce to the cooled tacos and put the ice cream. Garnish with strawberries and sprinkles.
What are the best ice cream toppings?
This is where everyone can add whatever toppings that they’d like! Some people like fresh fruit or frozen fruit on top of their tacos while others just want all the sweets and treats!
I say grab a bunch of topping ideas and just let everyone have fun. They can add sprinkles, fruit, caramel sauce, hot fudge sauce, chocolate chips, whipped cream, chopped nuts – or anything else that they want.
How long does it take to shape the taco waffle shell?
It doesn’t take long at all. The key is to shape it while it’s warm and to let it cool in that shape.
Be careful as the waffle will be super hot when you’re taking it out of the pan, but during those precious few seconds, you’ll want to use a wooden spoon end or spatula to drape it across and then bend it into the shape of a taco shell.
In just a few seconds, the entire waffle will cool down and hold that shape. You can then fill it with all the yummy ingredients to complete the ice cream tacos.
