When gearing up for a fun football party it’s always fun to get creative the easy way. OREO is America’s favorite cookie and there’s nothing better than sharing it with your favorite people, except when it is crushed and rolled up into the delicious, simple goodness that is the OREO Cookie Ball. Foodies love to make OREO Cookie Balls their own, and with a recipe that only calls for three ingredients, the options are virtually endless. The world is your oyster. Or is it your Cookie Ball?
With so many great parties to throw the sky is the limit with what you can do with this great easy to make recipe. Naturally I head to Walmart and grab the 3 basic ingredients to make these delicious OREO Cookie balls.
Make sure and grab the following ingredients:
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened
- 36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 3 cups)
- 4 pkg. (4 oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
While at Walmart you can always grab a few more goodies for the party with their low prices and huge selection. Head home and get ready to make a delectable treat that will have your guest cheering for more!
- CUSTOMIZE it with your own ingredient additions or decorative skills.
- REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.
- Share and enjoy!

To make the OREO cookie Balls simply crush the OREO cookies.
MIX cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. I shaped them like footballs. Freeze 10 min.
Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
Share and Enjoy!
This is such a fun and delicious treat that will make everyone cheer for joy! With the delicious goodness of OREO cookies and yummy chocolate this treat will be a touchdown!

These are good and easy. Oreo is my favorite cookie. They keep coming out with so many new flavors too. Right now, I’m loving the peanut butter filling.

That sounds really good. And easy too. I probably won’t use the football shape for mine, but I get it that this was a suggestion to serve while the game is on.
OMG!!! So easy and DELICIOUS!!! Thank you! (Now if I can just leave them alone…)

Thanks so much for the recipe on Get Game time Ready with OREO Cookie Balls! I’m not a fan of football, however, I do have to entertain a couple of hubby’s friends who will be coming to watch the game with him! This is a Super Idea! I never gave this a thought! Easy to make and I’m sure they are so delicious as well! If I have the time (and money) to get these ingredients (I only have the semi-sweet chocolate chips right now) I’m going to make them! Thanks so much for sharing this! I honestly appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂

Way too easy! Just think about what you could do with just covering an oreo with chocolate and decorating to create baseballs, basketballs, and soccer balls, for snacks all year long.
I love the idea if decorating as a baseball. In am a big baseball fan and do not care much for cream cheese but love oreos.
