Christ-Centered Easter Craft for Kid: Spanish & English Templates
I am always looking for fun ways to teach my children about the Resurrection and the real meaning behind Easter. There are so many fun ways to be able to really bring the lesson home to kids. It’s a big concept that is hard many times for little ones to understand. Although the Easter bunny is a fun concept for kids teaching them the real meaning behind Easter is very important. There are some great products like the ones below that make great Easter Gifts for kiddos that will teach them about the Resurrection story.
But making crafts with them is a fun way to make sure they really learn the lesson behind the greatest love story of all!
This craft is so easy to make and the final product is so beautiful and perfect! Best of all comes in both Spanish & English! Just print the template out for either Cross Ha Resucitado template in Spanish or the Cross He is Risen Template English version and you can make this fun Christ-Centered Easter Craft! ****NOTE*** So for some reason, you need to download it and then print it, not print it right from the download. I’m not sure why it’s doing this. If it still doesn’t work for you please reach out to me at mome@conservamome(dot)com and I’ll email you the pdf. I’m so sorry this is happening and not sure why it’s happening. *****
Read on to see how easy it is to make!
What you’ll need to make a Christ-Centered Easter Craft
5-6 Various colors of Construction paper ( I chose pink, purple, red, yellow and orange)
White paper plate
Cross He is Risen Template English or Cross Ha Resucitado template in Spanish
Scissors
Glue
Green Tissue paper (10-inch x 4-inch strip)
How to make a Christ-Centered Easter Craft
To begin, print out the He is Risen template in either Spanish or English and cut around the circle surrounding the crosses and the bottom flat part.
Then cut the construction paper into 1-inch strips.
Next, cut them into 1-inch squares. You will also cut the template around the cross.
Cover the top half of the plate with glue and cover with the squares.
You can alternate the colors or use a pattern. Whatever is chosen will be perfect!
That’s the beauty of this craft the color squares will create a beautiful backdrop.
Continue to glue the construction paper squares on most of the paper plate leaving a spot at the bottom to glue the “He is Risen” template.
Glue the “He is Risen” template to the plate and add glue to the bottom half.
Then get the green tissue paper strip,
Crinkle the green tissue paper,
and glue it to the bottom half of the plate.
This is such an easy and beautiful craft that everyone will love. It’s so perfect and sweet and the perfect center piece to teaching your children about the real meaning of Easter.
There are so many ways for your little ones to be creative with this beautiful craft.

The printable is scaled way too huge and seemingly impossible to scale down – having difficulties. Otherwise very cute craft!

Hi! This prints a blank page after it is downloaded?
Emily says
That’s happening to me as well, I think the image itself is too large so it keeps printing out the blank white corners of the image. I’ve tried scaling it down to fit a normal page and I can’t. Very frustrating!
