Disclosure:I received a free season of i9 sports for my kids in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are 100% mine.
We just finished our 2nd season of i9 Sports and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. It was another fun season that brought my kids fun, strength and knowledge. Best of all they were able to try out a fun new sport and gain a confidence in basketball. My kids are very active and love to run around and have fun so when they put that energy into something productive it’s a win for all.
That being said sports have become very competitive and some kids don’t have the basics or the conditioning for certain sports, yet still want to play them for fun. That’s where i9 Sports comes in. It gives kids the availability to try out most sports in a fun environment where they not only learn about various sports but it’s also done in a fun, respectful way. Although there are hundreds of reasons our family absolutely love i9 sports here are our top 5.
#1 Great Coaches
The Coaches are there because they want to. They are parents just like you and me ready to help. They’re there because they care They give of their time and are ready to do it with heart. We’ve been blessed with some great coaches. Why? Because they’re parents just like us and their kids are there giving it their all.
#2 Enjoy fun with Friends
Kids are grouped by ages so it’s easy to not only play with old friends but make new friends as well. During this fun time they’ll not only learn a new skill but they get to learn team work and make friends in the process. Kids are encouraged to have a fun time and all are given equal play time. True Sportsmanship is taught creating a positive environment the whole season!
#3 Fundamentals the Fun Way
The coaches go out of their way to teach the basic fundamentals of each sport. They take the time to explain not only the basics and the building blocks to succeed but incorporate valuable lessons on sportsmanship, health and exercise.
#4 Gain Confidence in a new sport or perfect one you already love.
My kids have had the ability to play soccer and now basketball and it’s given them such confidence in each sport. Not because they have the ability to play but because they feel confident knowing that as long as they try that’s all that matters. With that confidence comes participation and with that participation comes success. A success they’ll carry on to other aspects of their lives.
#5 Everyone is a winner, because everyone tried their best.
This isn’t a highly competitive league but they do hold games every time. While my kids love to play sports they aren’t experts. They want to have fun, they want to learn and they want to meet other kids in the process. This league isn’t about pitting kids against each other but teaching them a new skill and rewarding them for giving it their all this season. They believe everyone should be both encouraged and given the opportunity to make the most of their abilities. Every kid is made to feel special and in the crazy world we’re living in, that makes it worth it’s weight in gold.
We’ve had such an amazing time this season. My kids love this league and are excited about the next season. We are so happy we found i9 Sports and highly recommend it to others.

Sounds like a great organization! I look forward to when my son is old enough to get involved in team sports. He’s only 2.5 now, but he loves to play soccer, t-ball, and hockey already!
