I love a good dip. I also love a good dip that takes just a few ingredients to make and is loaded down with flavor. This simple dessert dip checks all those boxes and more!
We make this dip a lot – and have yet to get tired of it. It’s a great snack for the weekend, super simple to make for movie night, and a great treat to dig in and eat anytime that you want.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Dip
Makes 10 servings
Prep time: 5 minutes
What you’ll need to make Peanut Butter Dip
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped peanut butter cups
Instructions:
- Beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. You don’t want there to be any lumps of cream cheese as that affects the taste.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and peanut butter cups.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
What do I dip into dessert dip?
There are so many options! You can serve this candy dip recipe with cookies, graham crackers, animal crackers, and anything sweet and crunchy that you like.
Sometimes, I just dig in with a spoon!
One of our favorite things to do with this simple dessert dip is to put out tons of options and then let everyone pick and choose what they want to dip into it.
How do I store leftover dessert dip?
Due to the ingredients in this recipe, you have to keep this stored in the fridge. Make sure to add the leftovers to a clean container with a lid so that it doesn’t absorb any scents of flavors from anything else in the fridge.
The next time that you are ready to eat, just scoop out some and put it into a clean bowl. That way, you’re not dipping into it directly to not spread germs.
What other ingredients can be added?
While I’m a huge fan of this dip recipe, just like it is, you can change it up and add anything that you want! Anything Reese’s flavor is going to be a great idea – and pairs together perfectly with the rest of the flavors.
You can also drizzle some caramel sauce or hot fudge sauce over the top to really make it a sweet treat!
My kids are all about toppings, so don’t forget the sprinkles, crushed peanuts, nuts, or even Reese’s candy pieces!
