Finally, consider how your home looks from the outside. If you go and stand outside and act as if you were a passer-by, what would you think of your home? Even better, ask your neighbors or your close friends and family. You can usually gauge how they feel about it from their answers. They might also give you some helpful tips on how to improve it, by adding warm lighting or a nice path to follow that leads to your front door.
