Easy & Cheesy Ghost Halloween Appetizer
This fun Halloween appetizer is great for a Halloween party at home or just a simple treat to eat before hitting the pavement to trick or treat. Since you can make this easy appetizer in just 20 minutes of time, everyone will be filling their bellies before they can run around the house and yell “boo!”
What I love about making appetizers like this is that they’re fast and delicious. I really feel like since this appetizer takes just four easy ingredients, it just might become a new Halloween tradition as well.
If you’re looking for something yummy for the kids to put into their tummies first before lining it with all that candy, this is the easiest way to make that happen!
You’ll even get to show off your creative skills by cutting out ghosts, too! Use this to your advantage and show the kids that cooking is all about having fun!
Makes 8 crescent rolls
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
One container crescent roll dough
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
Use a knife to cut a slit down from each corner of the bottom of the triangle.
Carefully bend the ends downward to create the ghost’s arms.
To make the ghost’s head, fold the corners under to create a circle shape.
Curve the end of the crescent roll triangle up.
Place the ghost crescent rolls on an ungreased baking sheet and brush each one with melted butter.
Sprinkle the garlic powder on the top of each ghost.
Bake for 7 to 8 minutes, until the rolls are just beginning to brown.
Sprinkle the cheese on the top of the ghosts
and return to the oven to bake for an additional 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
