Holiday desserts make me happy. Maybe it’s because the holiday season is full of treats and sweets or making it’s because I love being able to be surrounded by my family and friends knowing that we have days upon days on holiday quality time to sit around together and bake and eat.
What I really love about this brownie bites is that they’re handheld and just the perfect size. But beware – I’m just giving you a fair warning…Once you make this up and have them sitting out on the counter, you’re going to be grabbing one every time you walk by the kitchen! How to make these Christmas brownie bites:
Bake brownies according to package. Let Cool.
Take a fork and break apart brownies so they are large crumbles.
Now, take about a tablespoon or so and mold around a marshmallow. Form it into a ball. Make sure the mallow is not peeking through. Continue to do this until all your brownie mixture is gone.
Then take your chocolate discs and put them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue to do this until discs are all melted.
Take one brownie ball and dip in chocolate, make sure to get a nice even coat. Lay on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Once all brownie balls are dipped, let dry for about 5-8 minutes.
In separate bowls microwave the red & green chocolate..the same way you did the milk chocolate discs.
Add each melted color to the corner of a baggie. Snip the corner just a little of each baggie (this will be your piping bag).
Now, in a side to side motion pipe on the red chocolate then pipe on the green.
Let dry for about 5-8 minutes.
Then they’re ready to serve! (1 Brownie Mix makes about 18-20 bites)
