I make goody bags often for the elderly and shut-ins. I have been doing this more during Covid since many are unable to get out. I fill with essentials, baked goods and etc. Hubby and I knock and leave at the door. My heart melts when the thank you calls start coming in and the calls lasts for some time. I know the elderly are just lonely and I am just happy to cheer them up!
Tomorrow is deliver milk to my neighbor who I know needs it.
My favorite random acts of kindness are the small things we can do each day, like holding a door open for people, letting someone with fewer items than I have go ahead of me in the check out line at the grocery, etc.
I am paying for the car behind me in line at McD’s tomorrow.
I am grocery shopping and running errands for my daughter who is at home with covid.
