Riddles are a fun way to get the mind going. So here’s a fun riddle of the day to get your mind going the extra mile.A woman gave birth to two sons, on the same hour, of the same day, of the same year. But were not twins. How is that possible?
I love myself a good riddle. Who doesn’t? Did you know there are two kinds of riddles? enigmas and conundrums.
An enigma is a problem in which the solution is expressed metaphorically. You have to carefully think about the riddle to come up with the solution.
A conundrum is a question that opens either the question or the answer.
A riddle, doesn’t need to be classified as either a conundrum or an enigma. As long as it is difficult to figure out and has an answer or a meaning to it, it can be classified as a riddle.
Did you know that Shakespeare was famous for his works, which had a lot of riddles in them. For example, in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo proclaimed his love in a riddle for the audience to interpret.
Obviously books and stories don’t really follow that frame of thought anymore. Literature has changed and so have Riddles. They use to be used as a learning tools before.
They would pose a question to get people thinking of the answer. It’s a much different approach than what we use them for today which is mostly entertainment.
Today riddles aren’t used as much as they were in ancient times, but they remain a definite way to get your mind working.
Read on to see the answer of the riddle above.

This is an interesting one, I didn’t get it. I was thinking they were born 9 months or more apart but in the same year. They were born on the same day meaning Monday, Tuesday, etc. and in the same hour of the day, because you didn’t say that they have the same birthday. Thank you for sharing this great riddle.
