I have never done it but I love the ideal of having my arms free to do whatever needs to be done. When my daughter was a baby she always wanted to be held by me and I didn’t know the great things about baby wearing with her.

I love wearing my babies, I have felt so helpless since my littlest was born because none of my carriers are with me (we moved) and I am stranded without having arms. 4 babies 4 and under is alot to have when you go out and you need arms!

My favorite thing about babywearing is being hands free and still close and cuddly with my boy. Babywearing keeps a cranky Baby content and a curious Toddler safe. I prefer babywearing while shopping as I can keep my mind on what I need to purchase and not on a running Toddler who would like to touch everything. He likes being high so he can see all around him.

Babywearing allows me to keep my almost 2 year old daughter close and get things done! She was born at 26 weeks and has some minor delays, like not walking independently yet. I am able to help her explore the world with the help of Babywearing. Some places are not conducive to taking strollers, but babywearing allows her to see these things, like going on hikes or busy festivals. 🙂

My favorite thing about baby wearing is having them so close to you. Your child feeds off of your energy and carrying them longer than the 9 months (some less) helps them cope to the surrounding world around them. My first child I had no idea about baby wearing but my 2nd & 3rd it is almost completely impossible not to now. I can get alot of things done with them right there on me to show them I am not going anywhere without them. It helps comfort my littles more than anything.
