Residence Inn Review & Mom’s Month Giveaway!

Sharing is caring!

I received a complimentary night stay at Residence Inn by Marriott in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% mine.

My hubby and I like to travel but with 4 little kids it can be a bit tricky. Because they are so little a vacation can be somewhat of an endeavor for all involved.  When we do travel we are very selective of the hotel we choose because of our size family. Some things we look for are:

  • clenliness
  • value
  • amenities
  • overall feel of hotel

Recently, I had the opportunity to head down to Miami and stay at the Residence Inn Miami and words can not describe what a fantastic experience this was.  Residence Inn by Marriott Loves families and their hotels are the perfect answer to a family vacation. With more than 650 properties in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Central  America, Residence Inn by Marriott is the leader in the extended-stay lodging segment. Designed for long stays, but perfect for shorter ones, the brand offers spacious suites with separate living and sleeping areas.

The Miami Residence Inn is conveniently located very close to Miami International Airport and about 10 minutes from the beach(without Traffic) and about 10 minutes from Historic Coral Gables. Since it’s Right off of the Highway you can jump on and find your way around town without a problem.

As soon as you walk into their stylish yet comfortable lobby you feel a sense of peace, comfort and just plain good.

The rooms are a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Complete with fully equipped kitchens this truly feels like home.

Another fantastic feature about this hotel is that they have free grocery delivery to your room. So if you are away from home and in need of anything a friendly employee will head to the store to get what you need free of charge, just pay for the groceries!

Perfectly decorated and comfortable this room has a nice separate bedroom and living room area where you can eat or work.

My room had some fantastic features that are available at this hotel. This room came with an air purifier and all bedding and furniture was cleaned with tea tree oil making it a hypoallergenic room. No more allergies and when I woke up no stuffy nose or strange hotel smell.

A bed so cozy and delicious I had the sweetest dreams in it!

Perfect bathroom, clean and complete with anything necessary to give you a good stay in your room.

Here are Some neat features I found in my room.

You also have a coffee maker, complete with coffee, cream and sugar. Tea drinker? They have that too!

Once you’ve built your overnight appetite you can grab a delicious complementary breakfast at any of their Residence Inn locations. From Waffle bar to Eggs, biscuits & gravy and some fantastic coffee!  Your belly will be filled with a delicious meal!

You can even work out your delicious breakfast at their health & Fitness center.Have pets? They are welcomed as well.
The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty, and at the Miami Residence Inn the staff was AMAZING. I sat and watched how friendly the hotel staff was, the front desk clerk knew most guest by name. You don’t find that at most hotels. They treat you like family and you feel like you are at  home(only better because you get house keeping service!). Staying at Residence Inn was truly a wonderful experience and from now on our family will be a Residence Inn home. As a mother of 4 children I highly recommend this hotel to all my readers and I know you will all love them like I do. How many places do you know go above and beyond to take care of all your needs like Residence Inn by Marriott?

Residence Inn is excited to announce that soccer superstar and philanthropist Mia Hamm has been named Residence Inn by Marriott’s 2014 “Resident Mom of the Year.” Mia is dedicated to her charity, the Mia Hamm Foundation, as well as helping other moms find balance and stay healthy and fit on the road.

I smell the bedding and towels to see if they smell clean (preferably like bleach)when I get in. I then look at the bathroom to see if it’s clean and see if they have plastic sealed cups instead of glass (never use the glass cups!!! So gross!!!) I used to clean professionally and I have high standards for cleaning, especially for hotels.
