Netflix April Movie Picks That Teach about Not Lying #StreamTeam

Sharing is caring!

Disclosure: I received a free Netflix membership as part of the #StreamTeam all opinions are 100% mine.

Everyone tells a lie once in a while.White lies make life easier for parents (the park is closed today) or make our kids happy (Santa Claus is coming!). Young kids make up stories as they learn the difference between fact and fiction, while older kids sometimes lie to cover for each other or to keep themselves out of trouble. However, we all know trouble they can lead to. So it’s important to teach our little ones early on that lies aren’t the best way to deal with problems.

How do you cope when you catch your kid lying? Whether growing pains or more of a laughable moment, what are some little white lies you’ve said?

Here are some shows available on Netflix that teach your kids about not lying.

Don’t forget Netflix has some great recently added titles like the second installment from the DreamWorks series, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and the latest Netflix originals, Marvel’s Daredevil, Bloodline and Inspector Gadget.
